Every year 5280 Magazine in Denver conducts a poll and publishes a list of many business around Denver - a Reader's Choice List called Top of The Town.  As you know, my Denver hair salon is located at Solera Salon and we have been mentioned this year at Solera Salon as a Reader's Choice - 3rd Reader's Choice to be exact.  Pretty cool! 

I love being at Solera Salon in Lone Tree - great location, great people, great atmosphere!  I can't imagine myself anywhere else.

I am always looking to expand my list of services that I provide as a Denver hair designer.  That is actually how I first started offering the Brazilian Keratin Blowout Treatment, Haircut Treatments, feather extensions and Ombre color, people asked for it. 

If you hear of new products or services for your hair that you want to try, I would love to hear about them.

Recently I looked at a product called hair tinseling and did demo it, but haven't moved forward with it.  It basically threads tinsel into your hair. But there are always new treatments and processes out there.  Is there something you are hearing about that you would like me to look into and get trained on?  Let me know!

I've just started offering a new service, a conditioning treatment bundle - meaning come on in to my salon at Solera Salon in Lone Tree and get your hair cut & styled and since you are here, we will do a deep conditioning treatment at the same time. 

With the dry Denver air I seem to have many more clients asking for deep conditioning, this is something I have been hearing quite a bit about lately.  So not only is it a time saver, to have 2 things done at once, but your hair will thank you!

By the way, even though my hair salon is in Lone Tree, I have clients that I style and color their hair from all over the Denver area - Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Parker, Greenwood Village, Denver, Centennial, Littleton and more. 

Ombre color is not exactly new, but its making its way back into the stylist world once again.

Ombre Color is a trendy way for hair designers to color your hair in a way that lightens the ends and brings it to a more natural state as we approach the roots.  Many describe it a similar to the hair color of a child because of the natrual way that the color is blended through the hair.

This can be a very economical way to keep your hair trendy and colored but it doesn't have to be colored as often as an all over color.  It also is less harsh on your hair and is a great option if your hair is dry or damanged and you would rather not over color it. 

Many celebrities are doing Ombre color right now  - it is the hot thing in Hollywood. Reportedly, celebs like Drew Barrymore, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashley Simpson, Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad, Jessica Biel, Cameron Diaz and Rachel Bilson sport Ombre color from time to time.

Magic Potion is a product in the line of the Brazilian Keratin Treatment line that I use at my Lone Tree salon. 

I was first introduced to it when something else that I needed to order was out of stock and I decided to try this.  Its a great product for curly heads with frizz that may not be ready for the full BKT for whatever reason or perhaps in those finaly weeks before your next treatment.

The Magic Potion will help you get the effect of the BKT treatment because of the keratin in it, and it really great for improving the condition of damaged hair or just to tame it down a bit.  I don't have any in stick right now today, but hope to get some in very soon.

I recently found out that not all of you, my clients, are aware of my customer referral program.  If you refer a new client my way make sure they mention your name.  Sometimes I change the details of the referral program, so ask me from time to time what it is.

Currently, if you refer a new client, your next service is 20% off.  2 clients - 30% off...3 and its 40% off.  Up to 50% off.  Pretty cool, no? 

Even for you out of staters, especially my old LA clients that read here, if you have friends in Denver, feel free to refer them too!  My salon is in the south Denver metro area in Lone Tree not far at all from Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Castle Pines, Castle Rock, Parker, Greenwood Village and Littleton.  I know you Cali folks won't get in here for a service, but I still appreciate you! 

I am often asked when coloring a clients hair if they must go darker for the winter.

In short, no.

It really comes down to preference.  Many gals do enjoy changing their hair color, even slightly, with the seasons.  But if you have found that perfect brunette or your blonde is just the way you like it, you should not feel that you must color your hair differently in the winter. 

When it comes down to it, hair color and style is about what makes you feel good, because when you look good, you feel good!

If you do want to change a bit as the snow starts to fall (If we ever get some!) then let's talk.  We can look at a subtle change or perhaps some highlights to freshen things up.  There are so many options for your hair and I would love to chat and we can find something great just for you!
